Just steps from Sindooram, Kappil unfolds where the sea meets the river, a rare confluence of backwater and ocean framed by coconut groves and mangrove-lined banks. Our own garden mirrors that same unhurried green, with fruit trees and flowering shrubs feeding the compost that nourishes every meal we serve. Kaapil Beach is a short walk away, and Varkala's cliffs and beaches are roughly 7 km down the coast, about a 15 to 20 minute drive.
